For those who pay taxes quaterly......

How long does it generally take State to cash a check? This is the first year for me paying State quaterly, and I forget how long it was back in April.

The fed's cashed theirs in about 5 days. States is two weeks tomorrow.

Been paying for 10 yrs.

Shortest time was one week. Longest time was six weeks from date of mailing.

I use all certified mailing when dealing with the state/govt. Cuts out a lot of the B.S. when they lose my paperwork.
